The newly-appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has committed to leading with integrity and a profound sense of patriotism.

During an interview on TV3 on Saturday, February 8, 2025, he outlined that his administration would be characterized by transparency, accountability, and a strong patriotic spirit.

Ablakwa, who also represents the North Tongu Constituency in Parliament, was officially sworn in on Friday, February 7.

He promised Ghanaians that his time at the helm of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would focus on advancing national interests, enhancing diplomatic relations, and elevating Ghana's international profile.
