The Deputy General Secretary of the (NDC), Mustapha Gbande, has stated that Ghanaians would still be happy even if President and his ministers fail to deliver on their promises.

According to him, the main priority was to remove former President 's administration, which he claims brought hardship upon Ghanaians.

Speaking in an interview on UTV on February 7, 2025, Gbande asserted that the mere exit of the previous government has brought joy to Ghanaians. "If today, Mustapha does not get an appointment, I am still happy because we have been able to remove the thieves.

If President Mahama and his ministers sleep on the job without doing anything, Ghanaians would still be happy because we have sacked those who brought hardship," he stated.
