Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee member Fredrick Acheampong has hinted that the Ghana Premier League could resume soon.
The league was suspended after Matchday 19 following violent clashes in Nsoatre, which tragically led to the death of a fan.
Speaking after a meeting between the GFA leadership and all 18 Premier League club representatives on Thursday at the FA Secretariat, Acheampong revealed plans to restart the competition. "One of the agreements is that we will meet with the supporters' leadership, and next week, we will have another meeting with all match commissioners.
They know the protocols, but we need to refresh them.
