The seven-member committee constituted by the Speaker of Parliament, , to investigate the chaos that characterised the activities of the Appointments Committee has resumed it public hearing on Friday, February 7, 2025.
The public hearing of the committee on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, was suspended after some new information came to the committee.
The committee, which is chaired by Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, has been tasked by the Speaker to conduct a full-scale investigation into the events of Thursday, January 30, night, and Friday morning, during the Appointments Committee's sittings.
Secondly, the committee is tasked with identifying all the MPs involved in the disorder.
