John Dumelo, the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, is making matriculation extra special for first-year students at the University of Ghana.
He has announced a free makeup and photoshoot session for freshers on Saturday, February 8, 2025, the day of their matriculation ceremony.
Sharing the initiative on his social media pages on Thursday, February 6, Dumelo wrote, "University of Ghana matriculation is this Saturday, and I will be organizing free make up and free Photoshoot for all first-year students. #idey4u."This gesture is part of his ongoing support for students at the university.
Even before becoming an MP, he provided laptops, paid tuition fees for some students, and arranged free bus transportation during vacation.
