Former Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Afia Akoto has urged political parties in Ghana to learn lessons with their appointments when they come to power.

She says most of the time, people who are appointed are not part of the power struggle but just because they know people who were part of the struggle.

These people tend to benefit immensely from the political party when those who struggle do not have access to anything when there is power.

Her post shared via social media read, "I am so embarrassed by the attitude of some former CEOs refusing to vacate their offices and allowing themselves to be the subject of discussions this week.
