The Anlo Dukor Council has officially petitioned the Speaker of Parliament to help identify the Member of Parliament who allegedly made a defamatory remark during the ministerial approval session on February 4, 2025.
In a letter addressed to the Speaker, the Awadada of Anlo, acting on behalf of Togbi Sri III and the people of Anlo, expressed concern over an incident in which an unnamed MP was heard shouting: "Shut up - you daughter of a murderer." The remarks, believed to be directed at Dr.
Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, the daughter of Ghana's former President Jerry John Rawlings, were reportedly made during heated parliamentary proceedings involving the approval of Hon.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
