Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways-designate, has accused the Ranking Member of the Committee, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, of frequently asking directionless questions during discussions.
In an interview with 3FM's Johnnie Hughes on February 6, Suhuyini expressed concerns about the Minority Leader's approach to questioning, stating, "The Minority Leader has been winding with his questioning and sometimes seems confused." He further suggested that the committee was being exploited for political banter, with some members attempting to score political points rather than focusing on constructive discussions.
Suhuyini called for improved collaboration among committee members to ensure more effective work. "The Chair and members of the committee need to work on being more collaborative because Ghanaians are angry with the kind of conduct we are seeing.
It's been fairly good, but we can do better," he added, emphasizing the need for consensus-building within the committee.
