A political aide to former Vice President , Kofi Tonto, has criticised the immediate-past Managing Director of SIC Insurance Company Limited, Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, over reports of her refusal to hand over to the newly-appointed Acting MD, James Agyenim-Boateng, weeks after his appointment by President John Dramani Mahama.

According to the communicator, appointees from the former government are expected to step down from their respective positions following the government transition.

Kofi Tonto argued that individuals who campaign against the new government's vision cannot expect to be retained in their roles, urging them to step down and make way for new appointees of the NDC-led government to take over. "You cannot campaign against the vision and ideas of Mahama and expect to be maintained as a CEO.

Step down for those who believe in his ideas and vision.
