Member of Parliament Sam George has cautioned Ghanaians against fraudulent job offers made in the names of government officials, emphasizing that no MP or minister will ever reach out on social media to offer employment opportunities.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament, he revealed that he personally dealt with a case of impersonation earlier in the day, where someone was falsely using his identity to offer immigration jobs.
He urged the public to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to such scams. "Let's use this opportunity to state emphatically that no Member of Parliament or minister of state will reach out to you on social media to offer you a job.
Any such approach is a scam," he declared, stressing the need for public sensitization.
