The Overlord of Dagbon, Ndan Ya-Na Mahama Abukari, has given the assurance that he would support the Northern Regional Minister, Mr Ali Adolf John Nburidiba, towards peace and development.
He noted that there was the need for the chiefs and political leaders to collectively to ensure progress, and improvement in the wellbeing of the people.
Ndan Ya-Na Mahama Abukari was speaking when the regional minister paid a courtesy call on him at the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi yesterday, to seek his blessings as he (minister) assumed duty.
Ndan Ya-Na said "You are my son, and I will support your leadership to achieve the goals you have set for yourself to ensure the development of the region".
