Nana Obiri Yeboah, CEO of Accra Lions, has expressed concerns that the recent violence at a Premier League match in Nsoatre could further deter fans from attending games.
The incident resulted in the death of an Asante Kotoko supporter and has led to the suspension of the league. "I don't know what we're going to do to convince the public, who are already not happy with the Ghana Premier League brand, to go to stadiums after what happened in Nsoatre," Yeboah said.
He noted that the Ghana Premier League brand is already struggling to attract fans, and this incident will only make things worse.
