The former Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has warned certain party elements against attempting to blame the 2024 Presidential Flagbearer of the (NPP), , for their electoral defeat.
In a post on Facebook on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Ofosu Nkansah attributed the smear campaign attempts to some faceless individuals within the party pursuing their own ambitions and personal interests in vying for leadership positions.
He accused these individuals of launching campaigns to tarnish Dr.
Bawumia's reputation and using him as a scapegoat to stir disaffection against him, among party members. "We won't sit down for those who have interest in leading the party to use Dr Bawumia as scapegoat because of their ambition," he warned.
