The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has refuted claims that Foreign Minister-designate Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa was "smuggled in" for vetting during the ministerial screening on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Agbodza, speaking before the committee investigating the chaos surrounding the vetting process on Wednesday, February 5, clarified that Ablakwa's vetting had been scheduled for that day.
The confusion stemmed from delays caused by the unexpected appearance of social activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor, which led to the disruption of the vetting sessions on Wednesday, January 29.
According to Agbodza, the Majority insisted on continuing the vetting process on January 30, despite objections from the Minority.
