Former Asante Kotoko captain Isaac Amoako has expressed grave concerns about the impact of hooliganism on the reputation of the Ghana Premier League, stating that no corporate entity would want to invest in a football brand marred by violence.

His comments follow a tragic incident at Nana Koramansah Park during a match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko, where a devoted Kotoko supporter lost their life.

In an interview with Citi Sports, Amoako called on Ghanaian football stakeholders to adopt higher standards and take steps to eliminate violence from the game. "No one enjoys investing in a product that brings this kind of thing, hooliganism.

Nobody wants to associate himself with those kinds of behaviours.
