The Government of Ghana has announced a Tripartite Committee to commence wage negotiations.
The Committee, represented by Government, Employer and Organized labour/associations, has commenced negotiations on the determination of the 2025 Minimum Wage The committee, which started its work on Monday, February 3, 2025, is expected to also discuss issues with base pay for public sector workers.
They have been urged to expedite their discussions because the base pay and minimum wage for the financial year are behind schedule.
