Ghanaian forward Joseph Amankwaah Opoku says his rise over the past year has surpassed his own expectations after signing a new contract with Belgian Pro League side Zulte Waregem.
The 19-year-old, who joined the club last season, has extended his stay until 2027, with an option for an additional two years.
The extension comes on the back of an impressive debut campaign where he featured in 26 matches, scored three goals, and recorded seven assists in the Challenger Pro League.
