President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said that over the past seven years, his government has worked closely with Organized Labour to resolve industrial disputes amicably. This, he said, has ensured a stable environment that supports economic growth and job creation. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo indicated that the efforts of his government in job creation have been fruitful. He says initiatives like the Ghana Jobs and Skills Project and the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) have provided employment opportunities for over 700,000 young Ghanaians since 2017. He said these on Tuesday, 20th August 2024, when he delivered the keynote address at the 12th Quadrennial Delegates Congress of the Trades Union Congress (TUC) at the Pentecost Convention Centre in Gomoa Fetteh, Central Region.
