A new national poll by Global InfoAnalytics has revealed that 79% of Ghanaians support the Speaker of Parliament's decision to suspend four Members of Parliament.
The suspension followed a chaotic altercation at the Appointments Committee vetting of minister nominees, where the MPs were involved in a near physical fight, hurling furniture, and damaging parliamentary equipment.
The survey, conducted between January 30 and February 1, 2025, sampled 952 respondents through a combination of online and field interviews.
With a margin of error of ±3.2% at a 95% confidence level, the poll provides strong insight into public sentiment on the issue.
