Chairman of the Appointments Committee, Bernard Ahiafor, has described the past week in Parliament as both "demanding and inspiring," emphasizing the critical role of legislative debates in shaping the country's governance.
In a social media post sighted by MyNewsGh, Honourable Ahiafor, who also happens to be a Member of Parliament representing the Akatsi South constituency and also serves as First Deputy Speaker, reaffirmed his commitment to upholding democracy and ensuring fair parliamentary proceedings. "As First Deputy Speaker, I remain committed to fostering constructive discourse, ensuring fair proceedings, and advocating for the best interests of our nation," he stated.
