Ransford Gyampo has responded to critics who claimed his appointment as acting CEO of the Ghana Shippers Authority was a reward for his critical stance against previous governments.
In his interview with Keminni Nyamanni Amanor monitored by MyNewsGH, Gyampo dismissed the notion that he was being silenced or co-opted for past criticisms.
He explained that his role as an academic and a public intellectual involved challenging policies and holding leaders accountable.
Gyampo noted that he had publicly critiqued both the Akufo-Addo and Mahama administrations, driven by a sense of duty to ensure good governance and accountability.
