A devastating car accident occurred on Saturday along the Sunyani-Abesim highway, claiming the life of a physically-challenged cobbler in his 30s.
The deceased, affectionately known as "Connection," was returning home from purchasing a phone charger when the driver of a private saloon car lost control and struck him.
Eyewitnesses reported that the accident happened around 3 pm near the Oti Yeboah Company Limited (OYCL) section of the highway.
The driver, believed to be in his 70s, has surrendered himself to the Abesim police station and is cooperating with investigations.
