The management of Accra Academy has identified the student found in a video flogging a colleague with a cutlass.
A statement from the school said the incident happened some two weeks ago but it had to take the viral video on social media to draw the attention of the school's management to it.
It added that the parents of the students who were involved have been contacted, with some responding to the call of the school and providing their statements.
The school has also handed over the student who perpetrated to the Ghana Police Service for further interrogation, while others, all of whom are day students, have been asked to stay away from the school pending further investigation.
