Kofi Adams has pledged to prioritise the maintenance of Ghana's sporting facilities if confirmed as Minister for Sports and Recreation.

He made this commitment during his appearance before Parliament's Appointments Committee on Thursday evening.

The Buem Member of Parliament stated that his goal is to prevent the deterioration of stadiums and training centres, ensuring they remain in good condition to support athlete development. "There are stadiums and training centres that have been left to deteriorate over time.

If we are serious about producing world-class athletes, then we must make sure they have the right facilities to train and compete," he said during the vetting.
