The Minister of State for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has assured Ghanaians that no staff member of the Information Ministry will lose their job amid the ongoing restructuring efforts.
His assurance follows President John Dramani Mahama's decision to scrap the Ministry of Information, which previously served as the government's primary communication arm.
Addressing the matter, Kwakye Ofosu, who will serve as the government's spokesperson, reaffirmed the administration's commitment to preserving jobs within the ministry while implementing necessary reforms for greater efficiency.
He further clarified that while all existing employees will retain their positions, future recruitment will be limited to create a more streamlined and effective workforce. "I wish to use this opportunity to assure all of them and the people of Ghana that no such this will happen.
