Samuel Nartey George, the Minister nominee for Communications, Digitalisation and Innovation, has asserted that financial technology (fintech) is central to the vision of President John Dramani Mahama's government.
He highlighted the administration's commitment to leveraging digital financial services to drive economic growth and financial inclusion.
Speaking during his vetting by the Appointments Committee on Thursday, January 30, Mr George underscored the crucial role fintech plays in modern governance and economic transformation.
He emphasised that the government would prioritise policies that enhance digital payments, financial accessibility, and innovation in the sector. "Fintech is at the heart of Mahama's government.
