President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr.
Johnson Asiamah as the acting Governor of the Bank of Ghana pending his approval by the Council of State.
His appointment comes on the back of Dr Ernest Addison's request to proceed on leave leading to his retirement on March 31, 2025.
