The Minority in Parliament is calling for the removal of Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor from his position as the Majority Chief Whip, citing his alleged disruptive conduct and lack of diplomacy in managing parliamentary affairs.

During a press conference on Friday, January 31, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin strongly criticised Dafeamekpor's leadership style, accusing him of bullying and undermining Bernard Ahiafor, Chairman of the Appointments Committee. "To my respected friend Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor, if he thinks that he is still in opposition and he would be a bully, then he will meet his meter.

Dafeamekpor has gained notoriety for shouting, yelling, undermining his own chairman, interrupting proceedings, and even challenging his own Majority Leader, yet he describes himself as the avant-garde of the government," Afenyo-Markin stated.

The Minority Leader argued that Dafeamekpor's behaviour has disrupted parliamentary proceedings and affected cohesion within the Majority caucus.
