The Minority in Parliament has issued a strong warning that it will not allow the Majority to impose its will on the approval process of President John Dramani Mahama's ministerial nominees.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, January 31, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin made it clear that his caucus remains resolute in ensuring a fair and transparent vetting process.

He indicated that the Minority will not resort to boycotting the proceedings but will rather remain active and vocal throughout the process. "The NDC must know that they won an election and that election they won, they are to govern with us and we will not allow them to use their so-called Majority to force their way, it will not happen.

We will not boycott any proceedings because it is not part of us." He further explained that the Minority is fully aware of the intricacies of governance, having previously been in power, and therefore understands the necessity of ensuring a balanced and accountable government.
