The Minority in Parliament is calling for the immediate resignation of Gifty Jiagge-Gobah, Clerk of the Appointments Committee.

The caucus accuses the Clerk of favouritism and procedural misconduct during ministerial vetting sessions.

According to the opposition lawmakers, Jiagge-Gobah's handling of committee proceedings has raised concerns about impartiality, with claims that she is advancing the interests of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Addressing journalists, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin asserted that the clerk's alleged bias was affecting the credibility of the vetting process. "Her actions suggest she is working to favour the NDC.
