The Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has outlined plans to use foreign policy and economic diplomacy to create job opportunities abroad for Ghanaian professionals.

Speaking during his vetting before the Appointments Committee, Mr.

Ablakwa acknowledged concerns over brain drain but highlighted the potential for structured labour migration to contribute to economic growth.

He emphasised the need for bilateral agreements with receiving countries to ensure Ghanaian workers abroad are protected and not subjected to exploitation.
