The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has rolled out the 2025 DV plates across its offices nationwide, featuring enhanced security measures to prevent fraud and ensure authenticity.
According to the Acting Chief Executive of DVLA, Julius Neequaye Kotey, the new plates mark a significant step forward in vehicle registration and licensing. "We are excited to introduce the 2025 DV plate, which represents a significant improvement in vehicle registration and licensing in Ghana. "The new plate demonstrates the Authority's commitment to leveraging technology to enhance security and convenience for its customers," he stated.
The upgraded plates incorporate holograms, watermarks, and QR codes to curb counterfeiting and protect vehicle owners.
Vehicle owners, automobile dealers, and agents can now acquire the 2025 DV plates at all DVLA operational offices.
