The Appointments Committee of Parliament on Wednesday vetted Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the Minister-designate for Health, as part of the government's ongoing ministerial approval process.
Mr.
Akandoh, a seasoned legislator and former Ranking Member on Parliament's Health Committee, will face rigorous questioning on Ghana's healthcare challenges, including the state of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), the state of medical facilities, and the welfare of healthcare professionals.
