The Appointments Commitee has postponed the Vetting of Ministers-designate for Health and Foreign Affairs, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa respectively to tomorrow, January 31.

The postponement became necessary due to a disruption in proceedings occasioned by disagreement over whether or not to continue after the vetting of the Minister-designate for Transport, Joseph Abukari Nikpe, which ended at about 10:00pm on January 30.

While members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the Committee wanted vetting to proceed, their New Patriotic Party (NPP) counterparts disagreed.

The Minority members cited the long day they had had vetting, Ministers-designate for Labour, Jobs and Employment, Environment, Science and Technology, Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, and Minister of Sports and Recreation.
