The Appointments Committee has issued a formal apology to Ghanaians following chaotic scenes during Thursday evening's vetting session.

The session, meant to vet nominees Kwabena Mintah Akandoh and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, descended into disorder as Minority and Majority members clashed.

Tensions escalated when the Minority proposed postponing the vetting to Friday, citing concerns over the day's proceedings.

However, the Majority rejected the request, insisting that the vetting continue as scheduled.
