Chairman of the Constitutional Review Committee, Professor H Kwasi Prempeh has assured that they will work with equal sincerity and seriousness with the sole aim of bettering the fortunes of our people.
He gave the assurance when the committee members were sworn into office on Thursday, January 30 by President John Dramani Mahama at the seat of government, the Jubilee House.
President Mahama had said among others after swearing them in that, "You have not been chosen out of political consideration, but your integrity, expertise and commitment to Ghana's progress…Your diverse perspectives will enrich this process.
I urge you to engage widely with citizens from all walks of life in this process." Speaking on behalf of the committee members, the Committee Chair, Professor H Kwasi Prempeh said "For the next six months…we also pledge that we will return the trust with equal sincerity and seriousness." He told President Mahama that, "our nomination signals the sincerity of your commitment to reset governance of this country.
