President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to constitutional reforms, assuring the newly established Constitution Review Committee that their work will not be in vain.
He said that this initiative would not become another unfulfilled reform effort but rather a turning point in Ghana's governance.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the Constitutional Review Committee members on Thursday, January 30, President Mahama charged the committee to carefully examine past recommendations, identify necessary changes, and develop a clear roadmap for meaningful constitutional amendments.
He stressed that this process must lead to action rather than remain another chapter in Ghana's history of stalled reforms. "Understand the weight of responsibility that comes with this task, and I assure you that your work will not be in vain.
