Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of deliberately obstructing government business during the 8th Parliament as part of their strategy to regain power at all costs.

Speaking in an interview on The Point of View on Channel One TV on Wednesday, Afenyo-Markin highlighted the challenges faced by the Akufo-Addo administration due to the NDC's parliamentary tactics. "At a point, the NDC put up a posture because they wanted to win at all costs to disturb government business and frustrate us.

Even situations where [it was just about] laying of papers, they will tell you that there will be chaos," Afenyo-Markin remarked.

He underscored the difficulties of governing in such a tense parliamentary environment, stating that the NDC's actions significantly hindered the smooth operation of government affairs. "Being in government is not easy," he added.
