The Minority Caucus in Parliament has called for decisive action against the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Commission, Ms Victoria Emeafa Hardcastle, emphasising that it will deter public officials and individuals from disrespecting Parliament or its members.
This comes after the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin pledged to summon the Acting CEO of Petroleum Commission to parliament over an alleged verbal abuse towards Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, January 29, the minority condemned the conduct of Ms.
Hardcastle defining it as a reprehensible and contemptuous conduct.
