Nana Ato Dadzie, lead counsel for social media activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor, has clarified that his client's recent bribery allegations against members of Parliament's Appointments Committee were not meant to disparage the committee but rather to expose potential misconduct.

Barker-Vormawor had alleged that members of the committee accepted bribes from ministerial nominees before their vetting.

He also challenged the committee's chairman, Bernard Ahiafor, to appear before Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) to address the claims.

In response, Ahiafor strongly denied any wrongdoing and directed the Clerk of Parliament to formally invite Barker-Vormawor to appear before the committee to substantiate his claims.
