Linda Akweley Ocloo, the Greater Accra Regional Minister-designate, has set a record as the fastest nominee to complete vetting before the Parliamentary Appointments Committee.
Her session on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, lasted less than 10 minutes, making it the shortest vetting process in the history of the 9th Parliament.
Unlike typical vetting sessions that involve rigorous questioning, Ocloo's experience was markedly different.
The nominee, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for the Shai-Osudoku Constituency, barely had the chance to introduce herself before the Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin intervened.
