The Minister for the Interior has imposed a curfew on Nkwanta Township in the Oti Region, effective Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
The curfew, which runs from 8:00 p.m.
to 6:00 a.m., was instituted following advice from the Oti Regional Security Council and an Executive Instrument.
In a statement issued by the Interior Ministry, the government urged residents to exercise restraint and use established mechanisms to resolve conflicts and disputes.
