Some supposed supporters of the National Democratic Congress have reportedly massed up at the head office of the (GRA) awaiting the arrival of the newly appointed Acting Commissioner-General, Anthony Sarpong.
According to a report by Channel One TV, the group, largely made up of macho men, are protesting and demanding the immediate revocation of Mr.
Sarpong's appointment.
President John Dramani Mahama, who is still in the process of forming his government, announced the appointment of Anthony Sarpong on January 21, 2025, to oversee Ghana's tax collection and revenue mobilization efforts.
