The Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, Dr.
Eric Nkansah, has been removed from his position by the government as part of its directive to realign leadership within the state institution.
In his place, Prof.
Ernest Kofi Davis, the Provost of the College of Education at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), has been appointed as the new Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, according to 3news.com.
