President John Dramani Mahama is participating in a high-level retreat on African Union (AU) Institutional Reforms, underway in Kenya.
Scheduled to close today, the meeting which opened in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, yesterday would focus on the progress and future of AU reforms.
At the invitation of the Kenyan President, William Ruto, it is being attended by other heads of state across the continent.
President Ruto, who was designated the African Union Champion for Institutional Reform in February 2024, would use the retreat to update fellow heads of state on the strides made in implementing the mandate given to him by the Assembly of the African Union.
