The Finance Minister, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has told the Controller and Accountant-General's Department (CAGD), and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), to discharge their duties with diligence and innovation, and work tirelessly leave a lasting legacy of fiscal discipline and national development.
He said this when he paid a working visit to the leadership of the two agencies after assuming office on Thursday, January 23.
Dr Forson also charged them to exceed expectations.
Prior to his meeting with the GRA and the CAGD, the Finance Minister held a brief inaugural meeting with top Management of theMinistry of Finance where he expressed his pleasure being back at the Ministry and stated that he deemed it a great privilege to serve the people of Ghana.
