In commemoration of the 2025 International Day of Education, Karpowership Ghana has donated essential educational and sanitary items to the La Bawaleshie Presbyterian School in East Legon. This year's celebration is themed: 'AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation', underscoring the transformative power of education in the face of technological advancements.
The donation, which took place on Friday, January 24, 2025, included exercise books, storybooks, pens, pencils, cardboards, learning aids for teachers, handwashing stations, and dustbins.
As students begin a new academic term, these items will help enhance the teaching and learning environment for over 700 students while promoting a healthier and cleaner school setting.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sandra Amarquaye, Communications Manager for Karpowership Ghana, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting education. "Education is a cornerstone of societal growth, and at Karpowership Ghana, we are proud to contribute to initiatives that empower students and teachers with the resources they need to thrive.
