Spokesperson for President John Dramani Mahama who is also Minister-designate for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has said that Ghanaians have accepted the resolve of President John Dramani Maham to run a lean government.
He stressed that President Mahama is committed to running a lean but efficient government.
Drawing a comparison between the Akufo-Addo administration which had 120 ministers, he noted that the Mahama government would perform well despite the small size because the Akufo-Addo administration performed poorly irrespective of its large size. "Ghanaians have accepted that we will have the leanest and most efficient government," he said on the Key Points on TV3 on Saturday, January 25. "These are some of the ways the president can save money and get the job done and by and large Ghanaians have accepted this, he added.
Akufo-Addo had a large size government but delivered poor results, the Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu-Kwamankese further stated.
