The president, who is currently in the Volta Region as part of his Thank You tour following his victory in the 2024 election, was captured at a public gathering greeting chiefs and leaders of the community.
In a viral video, Mahama is seen approaching some chiefs, who stood up to shake his hand.
However, he signaled them to remain seated while he greeted them.
