The Deputy Campaign Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 general elections, Nana Akomea, has criticized the (NDC) National Chairman, Johnson , for remaining silent after his son was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF).

According to Nana Akomea, has consistently argued that, regardless of a family member's qualifications, it is wrong for the government in power to appoint their relatives to office.

He accused him of remaining silent now that power his government is in power and his son has been appointed as the MIIF Deputy CEO, highlighting the importance of family and friends' administration.
